Since the Middle Ages, veneration for the Holy House of Loreto has powerfully illustrated the evangelical virtues of the Holy Family. A Marian Litany, also known as the Litany of Loreto, has its first-known origins at the Shrine of Our Lady of Loreto (Italy), where its usage was recorded as early as 1558. Our Lady of Loreto is the patron saint of aviation.
